A great place to relax, most importantly quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed it.

Rested at the hotel in early April 2016. They brought us to the hotel early in the morning plus they were already waiting for me. The fish pond at the reception is so pleasing. I accommodated in a normal room. The hotel is however 2 stars - all just super. Clean, modest, there is everything you need - towels, soap in the shower, toilet paper, air conditioning, ceiling fan. TV connections and hot water facilities were declined due to the construction of an additional floor to the building. (construction noises were so disturbing. I almost did not hear anything) Tap water was warm. and after the beach or a walk in the afternoon in the hot sun - in just right. Unavailability of hot water did not bring any discomfort. The hotel is small, consists of 12 rooms, in which another 6 tourists were occupied (in 3 rooms). at the check out we had two of them, but before that it was completely full. The rooms are all the same, may differ only by the presence of mosquito nets and some piece of furniture. The rooms are clean. linen and towels, trash removal, etc. -. At the request . Once we check in after travelling they had everything cleaned and rubbed to a shine. well done guys ! The room was not observed no living creatures, not hurt anything. My room (107) faces the side of the railway, but this dream did not hurt, because the train did not go at night, in the morning and a little during the day and evening. If the room is not satisfactory , you can always ask for another, it's not a problem. At breakfast, everything was standard - tea or coffee, scrambled eggs, sausages, chicken and vegetables. Breakfast - want in the room - no problem. The menu is not more expensive than elsewhere in the county, but something cheaper. Prepared delicious, portions are good. On arrival I had dinner at a gift that was a pleasant surprise. Each day give (if you ask) free liter bottle of water. There is a bar - beer, whiskey, wine, etc. If something needs to be put in the fridge - do not hesitate to let the children, they will carry. Wi-Fi available. but only at the reception and in the yard under a canopy, where there are tables and chairs, where guests can rest away the evening. The beach - a couple of minutes, a towel on the beach can be taken from the room. On the contrary - the house of local residents, who are always good to you. The hotel location is good - to the train station about 15-20 minutes on foot, and from there you can in Colombo, Galle and you can go further. Near the train station and the market where a lot of fruits, vegetables and fish. Ask - You will cook your food from dinner or lunch for a small fee, it is necessary to negotiate with Hashan or Rana (about them a bit later) In 5 minutes - the bus stop, where you can get anywhere, and quite inexpensive. The hotel is suitable for those who do not require luxury, for whom the main thing - rest on the ocean and in a good mood. Everything in the hotel is fully consistent with its category, even more than. It's simple, clean and mentally. And now about the main advantages of this hotel - it's staff! Staff - extremely helpful and friendly !!! Very nice people! The owner - (Hashan), a young guy. With any question, you can ask him - always helps and prepares breakfast, and room will ... incredibly friendly guy! Another guy working there Sampath- is also very, very kind and helpful. He does not speak in Russian, but that did not stop our communication. The girl at the reception desk, still two guys were new, but all who work there - very, very, very good !!!! And they have a wound (this is for Russian-speaking he seems to be the name of his long and too hard for us). This man - just a lifesaver! On the recommendation of a rest, which I found, went with him on a trip - River Safari, rubber plantations, Turtle Farm, the Buddha temple and a lot more then he told and showed. I really liked it, worth $ 30, which he has completed in full. Upon request - to bring to the market, for tea, for spices, etc. Moreover, in the shops, which carry -. Very good prices. They asked me to take on the fish market - not a problem, brought, helped choose to bargain, agreed to cooking at the hotel. And in general with any question you can contact him (in Russian understands and speaks well), always ready to help and rescue. When I was leaving, complained that did not have time to buy a magnet, and in our village there is no place already)))) 30 minutes later brought the 3 pieces and said it was a gift, money is not taken! I want to thank - will not give up, there is a desire - can treat a bottle of vodka, and they love sunflower seeds fried;) The owner and staff - the best decoration of this hotel! Very kind, sympathetic and sincere people! They all helped to make my stay memorable and so wonderful! A huge thank you to them for that !!!! I'd love to come back again to this hotel to relax.

If you want to enjoy of all the warmth and hospitality of Sri Lanka, you definitely need to stay at this hotel . Responsive staff performed all ours request, thanks to good management of the owner . I'd like to mention a cozy terrace where we met every evening) The location of the hotel is good. because it is near the beach and within walking distance to the train station. All dishes at the restaurant are tasty and fresh. I am glad that the hotel is reconstructing now. The are always pros and cons, but for us Wadduwa Beach Resort became home !thank you !!!!

This is a good place to live, not far from the ocean , great food and really friendly atmosphere. The owner of the hotel is the best, always kind and helpful!
